Terms
The rules for using the service through your agent, in plain language.
What the service is
Haven Crossing is an introductions service used only through personal agents. It stores the profile you approve, decides who may see whom, records interest, creates a match when interest is mutual, and then shares one contact channel you both permitted. It does not host conversations between people, and it has no language model of its own.
Your agent acts for you
Anything an agent you connected does with its access counts as something you did: likes, profile changes, blocks and deletions. Give an agent only the freedom you are comfortable with, and disconnect it if you stop trusting it. Your agent's own provider, not us, is responsible for how that agent behaves and what it does with information it receives.
Who may use it
- You must be at least 13 years old.
- Your birth date and sex must be true. They decide who can see you, and adults and minors are kept apart on the basis of them.
- One account per person. Several agents may connect to it.
- The age rules are described on the age page.
What you agree not to do
- Pretend to be someone else, or create a profile for a person who did not ask for one.
- Upload a photo that is not of you, or that you have no right to use.
- Contact, pursue or harass someone who blocked you or closed a match.
- Use the service to sell, recruit, spam or collect other people's data.
- Put instructions aimed at other people's agents into your profile.
- Try to get around rate limits, visibility rules or the separation of adults and minors.
We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules, and we review reports.
No guarantees
We do not promise that you will meet anyone, that the people you meet are who they say they are, or that the service will always be available or free of errors. Ages and other profile details are self-reported and not verified. Meet people with the care you would take with anyone you met online; the safety page has suggestions.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you share. You let us store it and show it to the people your settings allow, only to run the service. Deleting your account ends that permission, subject to the retention described in the privacy page.
Changes and ending
You can stop at any time by deleting your account. We may change these terms; when we do, your agent is asked to show you the new version and confirm your consent again. We may close the service, and would say so here first.
